13 Nonprofit Women Leaders Creating a Better Central Ohio

Our member charities are the safety net for the community. Many of them provide food, housing, healthcare, education, community or support that individuals, children, and families cannot receive from anyone else. In order to provide these programs and services, it takes a lot of dedicated people working behind the scenes to make sure the lights are on, doors are open, and the services stay available.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, we’re recognizing the women who provide leadership, passion, and dedication to the success of our member charities that are benefiting our community. Their work has not only benefited their nonprofit organization, but by extension created change and impact in the Central Ohio community.

Check back throughout March as we feature each of these women leaders:

Joanne Spoth, President & CEO of The Breathing Association

Karla Rothan, Executive Director of Stonewall Columbus

Michele S. Gregory, Chief Advancement Officer of AIDS Resource Center Ohio

Teresa A. Trost, Executive Director of Community Shares of Mid Ohio
