Introducing Our New Members for 2025
Community Shares of Mid Ohio is thrilled to welcome seven incredible organizations to our network for 2025! Each new member brings a unique mission and dedication to making Central Ohio a better place. We are excited to amplify their amazing work in the community and connect them with even more supporters and resources to further their mission.
Meet the newest members of our collective:
- Little Bottoms Free Store: Fostering a safe, nurturing environment while providing essential baby supplies (diapers, wipes, clothing, formula, coats, shoes, etc.) to over 1,000 disadvantaged Franklin County children annually.
- Buckeye Flame: Stands as Ohio’s only lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) nonprofit newsroom, publishing original stories daily of the struggles and triumphs of Ohio’s LGBTQ+ community.
- Motherful: Supports, empowers, and nurtures single mothers and their families in Columbus, Ohio with resources, community and education, arts and wellness.
- Columbus Dog Connection: Advocating for animal welfare through rescue, fostering, and adoption services.
- The Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio: Provides no-cost prescription medications and pharmacist counseling to low-income, uninsured, and underinsured Franklin County residents; along with wellness screenings, health education, nutrition information, fresh produce, and more.
- P.E.E.R. Center: Provides a safe place where individuals receive respect, encouragement, and hope that supports and strengthens their recovery from mental illness, addiction, and/or trauma.
- WrightChoice Mentoring: Empowers diverse students through transformative mentoring, fostering confidence, inclusion, and belonging as they navigate college and pursue career pathways.
