Introducing Our New Members for 2026

Community Shares of Mid-Ohio is thrilled to introduce eight amazing organizations joining our network for 2026! Our new and returning members each bring a powerful mission and a deep dedication to improving lives throughout Central Ohio. We’re honored to help amplify their impact and connect them with the support they need to thrive.

Meet the newest members of our collective:

New Members:

Maryhaven - Helps anyone and everyone achieve a life free from addiction and mental health challenges, and provides support to maintain sobriety.

Greenleaf Job Training Services - Helping job seekers with disabilities find and keep meaningful work through training, support, and connections to inclusive employers.

Nellie's Champions For Kids (NC4K)- Provides financial support, emotional support, and events for play to families with a childhood cancer diagnosis in Ohio.

Makerspace Central - Hands-on learning organization focused on creativity, skills, and career readiness in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) fields for K-12 students of all backgrounds.

Veteran Animal Companion Services - Provides rescue dogs and training to veterans, enhancing mental health, reducing isolation, and creating supportive communities through animal companionship and veteran-centered programs.

Highland Youth Garden - Welcomes children and teens for STEM-based garden education and nutrition programs. Grows and distributes produce to families and seniors in our USDA-recognized food desert.

Returning Members:

ASHA Ray of Hope - Advocates to end domestic violence in the South Asian community by supporting and counseling individuals affected by domestic violence in Ohio.

All THAT (Teens Hopeful About Tomorrow) - Mentor teenage youth in academic achievement, life skill development, and career planning to succeed in school and beyond. Also provides work ethic values training.

In the weeks ahead, we’ll be spotlighting each new member and returning member, sharing more about their missions and the meaningful ways they’re making a difference across Central Ohio. You’ll have the chance to learn what drives their work and how you can support their impact. Together, we can work towards a more just, caring, and healthy community for all!
